Homer (9th century BC), Hesiod (8th century BC), Plutarch (46-120 AD), and Pausanias (2nd century AD) created worlds filled with amoral epic adventures and populated by heroes, both mortal and immortal, whose time was spent in fornication and other exploits. These writers were all guardians and creators of wonderfully adventurous mythic stories.
